Reviewing the Schedule for a Specific Report, Extract, or Task

Use this option to review when a specific report, extract, or task is scheduled to run. This includes both the scheduled groups a report, extract, or task is assigned to, and any reports, extracts, or tasks that were submitted to generate later. The Scheduled list allows you to quickly view the current schedule for one-time and recurring jobs to determine whether adjustments should be made. From here you can also cancel a one-time scheduled report, extract, or task or modify its parameters before submission.

  1. From the ReportsSDE, or Tasks tab, select the product center and category of the report, extract, or task whose schedule you want to review.
  2. Click the More link for the selected report, extract, or task and select the View scheduled option.
  3. The Scheduled box opens, listing each time the report, extract, or task is currently scheduled to run. This includes both recurring jobs (the report, extract, or task is part of a scheduled group) and one-time jobs (the report, extract, or task was scheduled by someone to be generated later). At the property, both site-level and Home Office jobs are shown.
    • Recurring jobs: For each group the report, extract, or task is assigned to, the list shows the date and time when the report, extract, or task was added to the group, the name of the group (in the User column), and the Date basis used to run the group (in the Scheduled column). The list shows whether the group is a site-level group or a Home Office group, and the selected output format for the report, extract, or task file. The File ID will always be 0 and the Status will be blank, since the job has not run yet.
    • One-time jobs: For each report, extract, or task submitted to be generated later, the list shows the date and time at which the user scheduled the report, extract, or task, the sign-on name of the user who scheduled the report, extract, or task, and the date and time when the report, extract, or task is scheduled to run. The list shows whether the job was submitted by a site user or a RealPage Central user and the selected output format for the report, extract, or task file. The File ID will always be 0 and the Status will be blank, since the job has not run yet.
  4. For one-time jobs, the Action column provides two options. At the property, these options are only available for one-time jobs submitted by a site user. (You cannot modify the schedule for a job that is part of a scheduled group here. To modify a group report, extract, or task, you must edit the parameters or schedule for that group.)
    • Cancel: Select this option to cancel the scheduled report, extract, or task.
    • Edit parameters: Select this option to modify the parameters for the report, extract, or task. When you select this option, the system displays the parameters defined when the report, extract, or task was scheduled. These include the format and email notification information, as well as the parameter information specific to each report, extract, or task. You can change any of these parameters to adjust how the report, extract, or task will be run.

After viewing or modifying the parameters, click Cancel or Save to return to the Scheduled list.

  5. Click Close to return to the ReportsSDE, or Tasks tab.
