About Waitlist Positions

Waitlist positions with the Affordable Waitlist are usually impacted by things like:

• Application date/time
• Preferences for unit selection
• Special statuses

Per HUD regulation, an applicant cannot be arbitrarily moved up and down the waitlist.  However, their application status can be updated to correct their preferences if they were incorrectly entered to true up their status.

Change Waitlist Position

Updating the Waitlist Summary (Affordable properties only)

1. Locate the household and click View next to their name.
2. Next to the Waitlist Application Summary, click Edit

3. Under Unit information, update the Preferences as needed by clicking the checkboxes
4. On the top right, review and update the Application Date and Time only if necessary.

5. Click Save
