If your scanner model is not listed, please contact your home office or sales representative to purchase a compatible model.

 

Install the Scanner Driver

1. In OneSite, go to Navigation Menu () > Administration - Scanner Install > Download Hardware Scanner driver installation package > Scanner Install - Download Scanner driver installation package
2. Click Download scanner driver installation packet > Run

3. Select the appropriate scanner:

  • RDM
  • Digital Check - Tellerscan
  • Panini

4. Click Install
5. Click Next until the program installs, then click Finish
 

 

Check the Scanner Settings in OneSite:

1. Click Navigation Menu () > Administration - Scanner Install > Download Hardware Scanner driver installation package > Scanner Install - Download Scanner driver installation package

2. Select the following appropriate scanner type under Remote Deposit Capture > RDC Scanner Type and Scanner Check > Scanner Type to ensure the drop-down menu shows the right scanner model:

  • RDM 7000/7500
  • Tellerscan
  • Panini
  • RDM Connect

 

Verify the Drivers Installed Properly

1. Plug the device USB cable into the USB port on the computer
2. Click the Start Menu on the computer
3. Right-click on Computer and choose Manage
4. Click Device Manager on the left-hand side
5. Click the + sign by Universal Serial Bus Controllers
6. RDM Simplicity or a variation of this should be seen here. If it is, you can go ahead and proceed to the next step. If the scanner is not detected, then proceed with the next steps:
 

  • Verify the scanner is turned on
  • Use different USB ports from the computer until the scanner is detected.
  • Use a different USB cable connection
  • Use a different computer and start from he first step.

 

3. Click Save

Attempt to Scan

1. Go to the Navigation Menu () > Payments
2. Click New
3. Enter the information, click Start Scanning

 

If you're still unable to scan, you must restart your computer and log in to OneSite. You should now be able to scan payments. This usually resolves the scanner issue.
