1. Go to Settings () > General property - Leasing and Rents > Transactions - Subjournals

2. If you do not already use subjournals you will need to check Use Subjournals on this Property

3. Click New

4. Enter the following information

• Subjournal name: Enter the label for this subjournal. Once the subjournal has been created the name cannot be edited
• Description: Enter an explanation as to what the subjournal will be used for
• Apply late fees on delinquent subjournal balances: Check this setting if you want to charge late fees to delinquent balances in the subjournal
• Requires Final account statement: Check this setting if you want to require that a separate final account statement (FAS) must be completed for this subjournal. 
• Exclude subjournal from the balance on the Resident/Tenant tab and At a Glance pages: Check this setting if you would like to exclude the balance of this subjournal from most applicant and resident pages

5. Click Save
