RP- Unable to Advance Property Date - Task: One or more leases up for renewal

Why This Happens

  • Your property requires all expiring leases to be renewed.  If you are prevented from moving forward, this resident has not yet been renewed.
  • If the options are missing under Actions and/or it does not specify the unit number on the Advance date required task ("One or more leases up for renewal"), an incomplete renewal prevents you from advancing the date in Classic OneSite. This means that your property requires that all expiring leases to be renewed.
  • This can also be caused by the renewal offers being generated in the New Experience.
    • To check this:
      • Go to New OneSite > Tasks > Expiring - Pending Renewals
        • The incomplete renewals that is causing the issue has a mark next to the account's name. When you click on the mark, it shows Failed.

Resident's Lease Dates Are Renewed?

It may be possible that a resident you consider renewed is listed here.  Their lease dates may have been edited to reflect their new lease term but the renewal itself was not processed.  Even though the dates are correct, OneSite does not consider their lease renewed.
