We already migrated to unified and when a technician tried to login with the facilities mobile application they need to click on "Realpage unfied login"

Here's how to manage a technician.

Before You Begin

  • Technicians should be set up with a user name and password in OneSite before they are added to the system as technicians.
  • Technicians must be set up with a user name and password in OneSite before they can use the Mobile Facilities App.
  • Workgroups must be set up before you add technicians to workgroups.
  • Determine which type of time sheets you will use (simple or advanced) and set up the time sheet option before you add technicians.
  • Technicians can bill charges to residents only if they are within a workgroup that has the right to bill charges to residents.
  • If the technician is attached to an active recurring service request, he or she cannot be disabled. You must first replace the technician in the recurring service request.
  • Technicians cannot be deleted from the system, but they can be disabled. 


Add a Technician

1. Go to the Navigation Menu (Navigation Menu (Three Horizontal Lines)) > Administration > Facilities - Maintenance staff
2. Click Manage technicians
3. Click New

Add technician
4. Enter the following information:

  • First: Enter the technician's first name
  • Middle: Enter the technician's middle name
  • Last: Enter the technician's last name
  • OneSite user name: Select the technician's OneSite username from the drop down menu
  • Primary work group: Select the technician's primary work group from the drop down menu
  • Assign additional work groups: Check/uncheck the box to assign additional work groups

5. Click Add another or Save


Edit a Technician

1. Go to the Navigation Menu (Navigation Menu (Three Horizontal Lines)) > Administration > Facilities - Maintenance staff
2. Click Manage technicians
3. Click Edit under Actions

4. Edit the following information as necessary:

  • First: Change the technician's first name
  • Middle: Change the technician's middle name
  • Last: Change the technician's last name
  • OneSite user name: Select the technician's OneSite username from the drop down menu
  • Primary work group: Select the technician's primary work group from the drop down menu
  • Assign additional work groups: Check/uncheck the box to assign additional work groups

5. Click Save.
